Designing For The Supply Chain
All In Network Modeling
John Morris
Consulting
Managing Principal
Cushman
& Wakefield - Supply Chain Solutions Consulting Group
Session Learner Objectives:
- Walk away with a more practical frame-work for supply
chain platform design and learn how to incorporate all variable items
into a network modeling exercise
- Gain a better understanding of how to develop the
business case for network investment
Designing a supply chain network can be one of the most
complex efforts a company can undertake. The successful case for change
must consider the myriad of challenges for key stakeholders and business
leaders. An integrated approach to business case development can help
establish the course for future company success, enabled by a well-designed
network that considers current business realities. Our speaker will share
a comprehensive proforma analysis, where every possible location and configuration
is represented by an income statement reflecting actual and projected
operating costs for a current, future, and expanded facility, and supports
strategic and operational decisions during design and implementation.
