As part of IBM's Integrated Supply Chain, IBM Global Logistics
started transforming the business and the organization over 10 years ago,
improving variability and flexibility while reducing cost and increasing
delivery service levels. The journey has continued as our mission has
expanded. The presentation will talk about the transformation, our ongoing
management system, and how we are moving into further integration within
IBM.
Denise is the Director of Global Logistics and Service
Parts Operations for the Americas within the Integrated Supply Chain organization.
Her responsibilities include management of all logistics operations for
the Americas including Trade Compliance, delivery to customers, reverse
logistics and reutilization, transportation supplier interaction, as well
as management of all spare parts operations across the Americas geography.
Denise joined IBM in Endicott, New York in 1984 in application
programming. Her first job with IBM was as a programmer in the Endicott
Site warehouse. Experienced in supply chain management and logistics,
she has extensive experience over 22 years in planning and scheduling,
customer fulfillment and order management, supply chain practices, IT,
and manufacturing operations including a 2 year international assignment
as the Dublin Server Site Manufacturing Executive.
She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with Bachelors
of Science degrees in both Applied Mathematics and Computer Science.
Eric J. St. Amand (1994 Graduate of the United States
Military Academy at West Point, New York) is IBM’s Program Director
for Global Logistics Operations in the Americas. Based in Poughkeepsie,
New York, Eric has responsibility for all Global Logistics Operations
directly supporting IBM’s Worldwide Manufacturing Organization across
the United States and Mexico.
