Subaru carves its niche in the automotive industry
by focusing on its Core Technology, Safety, and Commitment to the
Community and Environment. The Westampton, New Jersey Parts Distribution
Center is one of five located in the U.S. The others are located
in Portland, OR; Denver, CO; Peru, IN; Atlanta, GA. The Westampton,
NJ facility is the largest of the five, and it located within close
proximity to Subaru of America’s headquarters in Cherry Hill,
NJ. The PDC’s primary responsibility is to accurately, timely
and efficiently receive, pick, pack and ship automotive parts supporting
the Subaru dealer network. The session will focus on the PDC’s
operations including size, IT and scalability, consistency, and
safety as well as Subaru’s corporate citizenship.
